319 Grand Street in the LOWER EAST SIDE

ABSOLUTE GREAT LOCATION IN THE LOWER EAST SIDE: the B, D, F, M, J, and Z trains are 2 blocks away, buses depart around the corner and 1 block away, and a CitiBike dock is across the street. Soho, the East Village, Greenwich Village, Tribeca, are all easily reached by foot, Chinatown and Little Italy are literally acrross the street. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Target, Essex Market are just a few blocks away. And you should take by all means FERRIES to many neihgborhoods and BEACHES in New York and Long Island! Maybe you manage even a day trip to Fire Island :)

...Jungle in the room :)

IT’S more than odd; it’s wonderfully bizarre: the round-cornered, Pepto-pink loft building at Grand and Orchard Streets. This ancient, creaky thing from 1886 is one of the oldest department store structures in New York, the last traces of Ridley’s, once famous but now a dot at the end of a footnote. The question at hand: Is it a landmark, or a development site?
